It’s October and the temperature has suddenly dropped, which Florence Pugh appears to be celebrating with cool-weather-appropriate fabrics. It’s only the second week of fall and the Don’t Worry Darling actor has appeared in not one but two all-velvet ensembles in as many days. The season of linen is over. The time of velvet has begun.

First, let us admire the emerald, figure-hugging velvet jumpsuit Miss Flo wore to the Netflix Awards Brunch. She kept the accessories and makeup relatively minimal so as to let the jumpsuit do the talking. To me, it says, “I am sexy but also cozy. I would like a glass of red wine and a seat on the terrace next to a heat lamp.” 

If I had one wish it would be for a shorter hem on the flared pant, because I’m a little worried that if she tries to walk she’s going to trip and fall directly on her face. Other than that, I have no notes for this look.
