Shoppers in Stamford got a chance to make some unique purchases Thursday night.
The Women’s Business Development Council hosted a pop-up shopping event with local women-owned businesses on Spring Street.
The purpose of the event was to support women-owned businesses in the area.
Vendors included Alma Mexican Foods, Flying Heart Studios, Le Rouge By Aarti, Rose Sisters Chips, Unbakeables and Wildwood Granola.
“We’re trying to bring people together to help them amplify their message their businesses and to collaborate with other women entrepreneurs,” said Fran Pastore, on the Women’s Business Development Council.
The Women’s Business Development Council says this is one of many pop-ups the public can look forward to.
